My name isn't Alice, but I'm pretty sure this place is wonderland. How and when did I get here? I don't remember.. but all I do remember is the aching in my side, and that loud noise hurting my ears. Until I couldn't hear anymore.. My name.. Name? Did I even have one? Who am I? Where did I come from? FOLLOW THE ROAD! The only words echoing through my head. What road? This one? Where does it go? Well in wonderland things don't make sense right? So forward march and maybe I'll remember who I might be. Maybe I could lose myself... then again who am I...
"Who are you?" A weird person appeared, no more like a guy no older then 25 appeared leaning on a mushroom. He that resembled that of a caterpillar? No no that couldn't be right? His eyes pitch black, two long antenna upon his head. Accompanied by estrange color of blue and purple hair. "I'll ask again. Who are you?" He spoke more directed at the poor young girl unknowing of what to do or say.
"Me?" She pointed a finger to herself. Her medium length black hair tied loosely in a ponytail that barely held it all. Danced in the light breeze, As he bangs only covered her right eye. A small poke a dotted bow sat on her head. As a white and blue dress covered her body. She looked no more then 19 at least. "I don't know who I am? Do you have any idea to who I might be?" She spoke gently looking at the other in curiosity.
"How would I know who you are when I myself barely have an idea to who you are?" He spoke staring intently at the young girl, giving a small smile. "My dear child. There." He pointed his pipe at her. "Is that who you are?" He smirked pushing off the mushroom letting some of the colorful smoke escape his lungs out into the air surrounding the two.
The girl looked confused at the guy before her, before looking toward where he was pointing. There right under her collar bone in the neatest hand writing was the name Mitza. The girl looked up only to find the guy standing a few feet in front of her. She slightly jumped looking down and away quickly. "Um.. is that my name?" She spoke taking a few steps back. Only to bump into a tree one like no other she had seen, this one was more colorful in one word. Now that she realized it, this place she was everything was more colorful. The sky was a bright blue the the clouds where all assorts of light colors like cotton candy. The trees where all black but colorful lines ran through the bark making it much more beautiful. "Where is this place?" She looked at the guy.
"This place is something like that wonderland you've heard of in stories.. but maybe that's just a cover... This place my dear child is called Lost." He said putting his pipe to his lips and taking in the smoke. "Now who are you?" He said once more leaning forward looking the girl in the eyes more intently. It was odd, this man, yet he pointed out her name or at what they thought her name was. He still asked the same question once more. Was he forgetful? She looked him over his clothes were a site to see for one his suit was well half green and half yellow. He matched well the surrounding.
"I'm Mitza I believe, if this is what I think my name is. After all why would it be on my body other wise?" She spoke placing her hands on her hips and leaning forward as well to show she believed that was her name. After all what else would it be a cat's name? "Enough of asking who I am who are you!?" She gave a glare looking at the other taking a step forward only for him to take one backward. He seemed surprised that this girl had well taken on such an approach after just finding out her name.
"I'm Alex Caterpillar If you must know." He gave a look as he straighten up and and let yet another puff of smoke escape his lungs. surrounding them. "Do you know why your here?" He smiled darkly as he went over to the mushroom and leaned on it once again. He just fit so perfectly into this world and Mitza found it outstanding that such a character could exist.
"Um.. no I don't but do you know why or where I'm going?" She leaned against the tree looking at the other curiously. Maybe he knew where she was to go after all she couldn't remember anything and she only recovered her name. But there was a strange aching in her side, and a slight headache from something. A noise she heard before she woke up in the soft green grass and beautifully painted flowers.
"My dear child the only reason people like yourself come here is because they have to find something important. Do you know what your looking for that's important?" He closed his eyes as he laid a top the mushroom. "Maybe its you your looking for?"
"Me now come on that ridicules! Who looks for themselves?... but who am I really am I only Mitza or is there more?" She looked at Alex for answers but he only looked at her through closed eyes and a smile upon his lips.
"Now how would I know after all I'm here for a reason just like you. So dear child all I can say is follow the road." Alex smiled as he pointed his pipe toward a road leading into a dark forest. Mitza looked slightly at the road and back at the caterpillar.
"Wont you come with.. Its awfully dark.." She looked at him with pleading eyes as he only gave a small smiled and blow smoke at the other clouding her sight.
"Now child is only good if you go on your own." His voiced echoed as she desperately tried to clear the smoke in order to see.
"Mr. Alex please!" She called out only to hear a faint laughing and reply.
"I'll see you soon young Mitza, don't forget who you are. Find whats important and maybe it will show you the way out." The voice faded and the smoked cleared only to show that he was gone an all that was left behind was the mushroom and a small card. Mitza walked over to the mushroom, and picked up the card to see it labeled The Magician with a picture of the Alex. She looked at the card slightly very confused, shaking her head before she put the card in her pocket, and looked toward the road giving a sigh.
