Ever glance at the sky and get lost in thought?
Ever look at someone pass by and wonder what if?
What if that someone could be important to you or nothing at all.
Ever glanced at the past and saw the flaws in most of your plans?
Ever glance at your future and see nothing because its not yet written for you to understand?
When glancing at the sky I find time runs me right by
My mind wonders and my heart stops
The wind blows and the street noises disappear
I realize the sky brings out the worse in me
I'm unable to figure out if thats a bad thing or good
Solidarity of my thoughts consume me
The voices once heard fall upon deaf ears
And my thoughts consume my life
But then your snapped out of it by a sudden passer by
You share a stare and you find that in this moment you have infinite possibilities
Infinite out comes and so many realities
I stare at the sky and watch life pass me by
I stare at your face
His face
Her face
possibilities endless and even more daunting then my own thoughts
I glance back into the past
Only to laugh at those possibilities that I choose
Only to find the flaws
Broken dreams
Falling towers of friends who no longer speak
Cut red threads that lead to a possibilities I could of choose
Who am I?
Who was I to begin with?
Because I'm no longer that person in the past
I am no longer 10 and running around playing tag
I am no longer a girl helpless in love for the first time
I am no longer able to remember who I started as
But I cant tell you who I will finish as
I glance to the future
Bright, blank and not forged quite yet
Molding is happening and when I'm done I will come out on top
I plan to tower over you
Over him
Over her
I plan to build a place where I fit
In a society that moves in a single filled line
Many people are bring change
Breaking stride
Running free
So why not me
I glance at the sky and thoughts past me by
I glance at a face and possibilities run endless
I glance at the past one last time
It shows where the flaws lay
Where missteps where taken and I use it as my guide
As I glance forward I take steps with precision
Molding a future where my mistakes aren't allowed
And my success will be achieved
My success and yours might be different
As my happy and yours will also differ
But in the end I will no longer see you,
Him
And her
I will only see me in a future I planed
I dreamed
I made
So who do you think you were?
Do you think You,
He
Or she
Would be proud?
Would rejoice at what you achieved,
Done
and did
Or would your past self weep in sadness

Lost Alice 2

7 min read
"I guess I have to go alone." She gave a worried look as she went down the road as she neared the dark woods she found the world around her got more dim and dark as well. As if the sun were setting with her every step. This world was oddly familiar like she walked through here before. But that would be rubbish after all she barely remember who she was. So how could she remember such an estrange place she never been before? Mitza took caution as she walked up to the entrance of the woods. "What if I get lost?" She voiced her concern looking around for something is anything she could use to mark her way.
Finding nothing she gave a sigh and looked down at her dress. It could serve the purpose of marking the way but that meant ripping pieces off. After a long disagreeing and agreeing debate she found herself ripping small pieces of her dresses bottom. "There but that is all I'm ripping off!" She protested to herself as she looked at the fabric in her hand. It was such a pity she had to rip her pretty little white and blue dress. The flower pattern on her dress looked so nice but now it was short to above her knees. Mitza sighed gently looking at the fabric in her hands before she tore off a small piece and tied it on to the branch closet to her.
Mitza walked on through the dark forest  not forgetting to mark the trail she had gone that was until she it a fork in the road. A small post stood having more then enough arrows pointing every which way not really helping her decision. "Which way should I go?" Mitza put her hand to her head as she thought carefully. "Well I cant go up, And I'm sure there's no way to go down?" She eliminated some of he choices. "I can go straight but there's no road. And I'm not going to go back that would be meaningless." She began removing the arrows from the small post until there was only two choices left.
"I can either go this way or that way." She looked at the last remaining arrows that pointed down two different paths. "But which way?!" She held her head as she shook it from side to side unable to figure the right way.
"You can go east but maybe west sounds more fun." A voice echoed through the trees causing Mitza to jump and look around for who it belonged to.
"Who's there?" She called out.
"Well I'm here then again I'm there." The voice got louder.
"Now that is ridicules you cant be here and there so where are you?" Mitza placed her hands on her hips and tapped her foot impatiently.
A laughter sounded from behind Mitza causing to her to turn only to be face to face with a male somewhat taller then herself. His eyes a bright blue and his hair the colors of green and blue stripes. The oddest thing Mitza noticed was the fact the boy had cat ears and a tail. The same color stripes as those in his hair. "Who are you?" She spoke moving a bit closer to take in the others features.
"Who am I isn't it common courtesy to introduce yourself before asking for my name?" The boy smiled widely so wide it frighten Mitza just slightly.
"Why should I give my name to a complete stranger!" She glared at the other who only smiled and disappeared from view. "Ah?" She looked around. "Where'd you go?" She called out.
"I'm right here." He whispered into her ear causing her to jump and turn slapping him across the face.
"Have you never heard of personal space!" She looked angrily and flustered.
He looked slightly shocked but it did not stop him from smiling at her. "Oh I like you, aren't you an odd one. What is your name I'm Shaq Cheshire." He put out his hand in order to shake hers.
Mitza was slightly taken back by the forwardness but shook it off and looked at him "I'm Mitza.. um just plain Mitza." She took his hand and shook it slightly aware just in case.
"Well just plain Mitza where are you going?" He let her hand go as he leaned against a near by tree.
"I don't know really I was just told to follow the road... But that's just it! The road splits so now I don't know what to do..." She looked at the pile of arrows and the last two remaining.
"Oh no that is a problem. Well it all depends on where you want to go. Do you want to visit the white rabbit or go see the duchess?" He questioned looking the girl over.
"White rabbit..? duchess? Who are they?" She looked at the cat boy who gave a smile.
"The white rabbit is a hand full sometimes he makes me tick. But the duchess is a mean and self centered young lady. Either way its up to you but I bet either way your going to meet them sometime along your way." He pushed off the tree and smiled going over toward Mitza.
"Ah well I rather this rabbit but how do you know I'll meet the duchess too?" She place on hand on her hip and pointed a finger at the other with a smile. "I can just avoid her if I want making you wrong." Mitza smiled in triumph only to meet another smile causing her confusion.
"You can but I'm sure in this whacked world you'll meet everyone." He moved closer causing Mitza to take a step back in the direction of the rabbits house. "If your looking for something then you need to find it even if it hides in the worse place in wonderland." His voice got lower and more dangerous.
"What do you mean.. I can assure you what I'm looking for is one none of your concern and mostly definitely not in the worse place hiding." She backed up step by step feeling as if everything she knew he knew.
"And I my dear Mitza can assure you things aren't always that easy." He purred causing her to take one more step tripping over a small rock. This only caused her to reach out and grab for him only to miss and hold a card in her hands. "Wha-" She let out a small eep and began to tumble down the road, but not before she was able see his smiling face disappear into thin air. Poor Mitza tumbled all the way down the road only to be stopped when she hit a white fence with a small oofph.
Mitza sat there trying her best to make the world around her stop spinning but no dice. Mitza looked at the card as she tried to read it or at least see what it said. The card was labeled The Hermit with the picture of Shaq. Mitza groaned as she got to her feet and put the small card into her pocket with the other. "What is with the wacky people here in this forsaken place!?" She cried out throwing her hands in the air.

Lost Alice

6 min read
My name isn't Alice, but I'm pretty sure this place is wonderland. How and when did I get here? I don't remember.. but all I do remember is the aching in my side, and that loud noise hurting my ears. Until I couldn't hear anymore.. My name.. Name? Did I even have one? Who am I? Where did I come from? FOLLOW THE ROAD! The only words echoing through my head. What road? This one? Where does it go? Well in wonderland things don't make sense right? So forward march and maybe I'll remember who I might be. Maybe I could lose myself... then again who am I...
"Who are you?" A weird person appeared, no more like a guy no older then 25 appeared leaning on a mushroom. He that resembled that of a caterpillar? No no that couldn't be right? His eyes pitch black, two long antenna upon his head. Accompanied by estrange color of blue and purple hair. "I'll ask again. Who are you?" He spoke more directed at the poor young girl unknowing of what to do or say.
"Me?" She pointed a finger to herself. Her medium length black hair tied loosely in a ponytail that barely held it all. Danced in the light breeze, As he bangs only covered her right eye. A small poke a dotted bow sat on her head. As a white and blue dress covered her body. She looked no more then 19 at least. "I don't know who I am? Do you have any idea to who I might be?" She spoke gently looking at the other in curiosity.
"How would I know who you are when I myself barely have an idea to who you are?" He spoke staring intently at the young girl, giving a small smile. "My dear child. There." He pointed his pipe   at her. "Is that who you are?" He smirked pushing off the mushroom letting some of the colorful smoke escape his lungs out into the air surrounding the two.
The girl looked confused at the guy before her, before looking toward where he was pointing. There right under her collar bone in the neatest hand writing was the name Mitza. The girl looked up only to find the guy standing a few feet in front of her. She slightly jumped looking down and away quickly. "Um.. is that my name?" She spoke taking a few steps back. Only to bump into a tree one like no other she had seen, this one was more colorful in one word. Now that she realized it, this place she was everything was more colorful. The sky was a bright blue the the clouds where all assorts of light colors like cotton candy. The trees where all black but colorful lines ran through the bark making it much more beautiful. "Where is this place?" She looked at the guy.
"This place is something like that wonderland you've heard of in stories.. but maybe that's just a cover... This place my dear child is called Lost." He said putting his pipe to his lips and taking in the smoke. "Now who are you?" He said once more leaning forward looking the girl in the eyes more intently. It was odd, this man, yet he pointed out her name or at what they thought her name was. He still asked the same question once more. Was he forgetful? She looked him over his clothes were a site to see for one his suit was well half green and half yellow. He matched well the surrounding.
"I'm Mitza I believe, if this is what I think my name is. After all why would it be on my body other wise?" She spoke placing her hands on her hips and  leaning forward as well to show she believed that was her name. After all what else would it be a cat's name? "Enough of asking who I am who are you!?" She gave a glare looking at the other taking a step forward only for him to take one backward. He seemed surprised that this girl had well taken on such an approach after just finding out her name.
"I'm Alex Caterpillar If you must know." He gave a look as he straighten up and and let yet another puff of smoke escape his lungs. surrounding them. "Do you know why your here?" He smiled darkly as he went over to the mushroom and leaned on it once again. He just fit so perfectly into this world and Mitza found it outstanding that such a character could exist.
"Um.. no I don't but do you know why or where I'm going?" She leaned against the tree looking at the other curiously. Maybe he knew where she was to go after all she couldn't remember anything and she only recovered her name. But there was a strange aching in her side, and a slight headache from something. A noise she heard before she woke up in the soft green grass and beautifully painted flowers.
"My dear child the only reason people like yourself come here is because they have to find something important. Do you know what your looking for that's important?" He closed his eyes as he laid a top the mushroom. "Maybe its you your looking for?"
"Me now come on that ridicules! Who looks for themselves?... but who am I really am I only Mitza or is there more?" She looked at Alex for answers but he only looked at her through closed eyes and a smile upon his lips.
"Now how would I know after all I'm here for a reason just like you. So dear child all I can say is follow the road." Alex smiled as he pointed his pipe toward a road leading into a dark forest. Mitza looked slightly at the road and back at the caterpillar.
"Wont you come with.. Its awfully dark.." She looked at him with pleading eyes as he only gave a small smiled and blow smoke at the other clouding her sight.
"Now child is only good if you go on your own." His voiced echoed as she desperately tried to clear the smoke in order to see.
"Mr. Alex please!" She called out only to hear a faint laughing and reply.
"I'll see you soon young Mitza, don't forget who you are. Find whats important and maybe it will show you the way out." The voice faded and the smoked cleared only to show that he was gone an all that was left behind was the mushroom and a small card. Mitza walked over to the mushroom, and picked up the card to see it labeled The Magician with a picture of the Alex. She looked at the card slightly very confused, shaking her head before she put the card in her pocket, and looked toward the road giving a sigh.
